Sharon Joy Holland, DVM
Dr. Holland graduated from the University of Illinois in 1986 and relocated to New Mexico to join an equine and small animal clinic. She started her own practice in 1990 and moved it to the Westside in 2002. As the owner, she is well-versed in all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special interest in dentistry. Dr Holland calls Corrales home and resides there with her faithful canine companion Sally. |

R. David Russell, DVM
Dr. Russell graduated from Auburn University in 1977. Born in Albuquerque , Dr. Russell migrated back to New Mexico from the southeast in 1986. He has a broad range of experience including military veterinary medicine, research (toxicology), and over 30 years in clinical practice. Dr. Russell has special interests in internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, furry pocket pets, and fly-fishing. He shares his home with his wife Judy and an insane cat, Samantha. |

Chris, Office Manager

Chris is a San Diego transplant and has lived in Albuquerque for 10 years. She and her husband Sean are both graduates of the University of New Mexico and have chosen Albuquerque to raise their daughter, Peyton Elizabeth. They also have five furry children, Avery and Riley (Scottie bodies) and Ducky, Izzy, and, Flea Bag (all westies). |

Trea, Technician Manager

Trea has been a vet tech for over 12 years and previously enjoyed horse training. She and her husband Chad recently moved to Corrales from California and love it here. They have two sons (a dog and cat) that are their babies. Trea likes working at Acequia Animal Hospital and meeting all the valued clients and their pets. They do see children (human) in their future but for now are having a blast with their ‘big dog' and ‘little man.' |

April has always wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl. She graduated with honors from Pima Medical Institute in 2004 as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. April has worked in this field for over five years and been at Acequia Animal Hospital since March 2006. She is married and has a baby boy, two dogs, and three cats. |

Sarah has worked in the veterinary field for over 14 years and has been at Acequia since October 2006. She's usually at the front desk and really enjoys meeting all the dogs and cats here. Sarah likes spending time with her sons Will and Dave as well as hanging out with friends, reading mysteries, exercising and sleeping. |

Adrienne, Receptionist
Adrienne has been with Acequia since March 08 and is very happy here. She has always had a tender heart for animals and realized her desire to work with them in 2007. She and her husband Israel had Davis, their first child in January. They have five dogs: Sig, Mater, Bruiser, Poquita and Precious. Adrienne looks forward to expanding her knowledge of animals and their care in the future.

Beth has been in the veterinary field for nine years. She has a husband Ryan, and three dogs. Sam (aka The Bubby), Ace (aka The Ace Dog, and Patti (aka Knick Knack Patti Whack Mullins). Beth and Ryan enjoy travelling and the outdoors. Beth has recently gone back to school and is very glad to have joined the Acequia team. |

Cassandra has worked in the veterinary field for six years. She shares a home with her husband Josh and three cats Goliath, Chai and Leilani. Yes, that is correct- no dogs. This isn't by choice, Goliath ‘The Boss' won't allow it. Some of Cassandra's favorite things to do are reading, traveling and singing off key at the top of her lungs. |

Julia currently attends CNM majoring in the veterinary technician program. She loves working with animals and has volunteered at a shelter for four years. Julia enjoys listening to music, reading, writing and spending time with her dog Shadow and cat Lucy. |

Bill is a huge help to us all. In addition to keeping the clinic neat and clean he is able to fix most any mechanical problems we might encounter. Bill is married and has three grown kids and five grandchildren. We also appreciate his frequent runs for Diet Coke! |
