Sharon Joy Holland, DVM
Dr. Holland graduated from the University of Illinois in 1986 and relocated to New Mexico to join an equine and small animal clinic. She started her own practice in 1990 and moved it to the Westside in 2002. As the owner, she is well-versed in all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special interest in dentistry. Dr Holland calls Corrales home and resides there with her faithful canine companion Harry and her 3 horses; Jemez, Rosie, and Curtis |

Holene Meuser, DVM
Dr. Holene Meuser graduated from the University of Illinois in 2004. After graduation, she moved to New Mexico and began practicing small animal medicine in Albuquerque. She has special interests in internal medicine, oncology and feline medicine. Dr. Meuser lives in the east mountains with her husband, Bob. She also shares her home with three dogs, two cats, two dwarf goats, a percheron and a few chickens. In her spare time she enjoys riding her horse, hiking and bicycling. |

Bonnie Gray-Dees, DVM
Dr. Bonnie Gray-Dees graduated from Colorado State University in 1988 and practiced in Idaho, Santa Fe, and Las Cruces before returning home to Albuquerque in 1994. After working as a vet for 19 years, she decided to tackle a new adventure and was accepted into CNM’s Alternative Teaching Licensure Program. While keeping her vet licenses current and doing veterinary relief work, she earned a N.M. K-12th grade teaching license and began teaching high school Biology and Health in 2009, and then Environmental Education at the elementary school level in 2011. She really missed veterinary medicine and furry clients, so is very happy to be here at Acequia Animal Hospital. She has a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine. She lives in Corrales with her family which includes a husband, 2 teenage daughters, plus 2 mixed breed doggies and 2 kitties. When she is not watching her daughters compete in gymnastics or volleyball, she enjoys Zumba dance, working out, sand volleyball, reading historic fiction, and vacations with family. |

Abigail, Hospital Manager
with Ella and R-low
Abby has been working at Acequia Animal Hospital since May 2005. She attended Cibola High School graduating in 2005 and the University of New Mexico graduating in 2010 with a BS in Biology. Abby has had a variety of pets over the years but has a special affinity for Shar-peis'. She has 7 dogs, 4 Shar-peis'- Ella, R-low, Xrispy and Vida, 2 Chihuahuas- Delylah and LeeRoy Jenkins, and 1 Jack Russell Terrier- Obie; She also has 2 turtles. Yes her house is a ZOO! With not only her 7 dog but the occasional foster dog. She enjoys taking her dogs down to the river and letting them play in the water on hot days. . |

Trea, Technician Manager
Trea has been a vet tech since 1995 and previously enjoyed horse training. She and her husband Chad moved to Corrales from California in 2007 and love it here. They have 2 dogs, Harley and Papas and 2 cats, Tomas and his kitten, Marlin. Trea likes working at Acequia Animal Hospital and meeting all the valued clients and their pets. |

Diedra, Receptionist
Deidra Baca was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and begin working as a receptionist at local vet clinics strait out of highschool in 1999. She began working for Dr. Sharon Holland DVM in 2003 at North Valley Animal Clinic and helped relocate her to the new location renamed Acequia Animal Hospital. In 2005 she and her long time love Siamese Cat ‘Marley’ moved to Los Angeles, CA to successfully pursue a professional dance career for 7 years. She retired from dancing in 2012 and decided to move back home with ‘Marley’ and come back to work at Acequia with the people and boss that she loves so much.

April, Certified Veterinary Assistant
with Andromeda and Anubus
April has always wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl. She graduated with honors from Pima Medical Institute in 2004 as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. April has worked in this field since 2004 and has been at Acequia Animal Hospital since March 2006. She is married and has a 2 boys, two dogs, and two cats. |

Adrienne, Receptionist
Adrienne has been with Acequia Animal Hospital since March of 2008. She loves spending time getting to visit with clients and their pets. Along with her husband, Israel, she also has a son named Davis, and daughter Elora. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge of animals while here at Acequia. |

Beth, Veterinary Assistant
Beth has worked in the Veterinary field since 2001. She and her husband, Ryan, recently moved to the East Mountain area and really enjoy it there. They have 2 dogs Ace and Patti. In their spare time Beth and Ryan enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.
